Child Talks+: A New Intervention to Support Families Affected by Parental Mental Illness

Child Talks+ is a preventive intervention developed with the aim to assist mental health professionals in offering support children of parents problems and/ or addiction problems. This brief report presents intervention, which can be adopted by workers, social workers and other healthcare who are contact patients parents. Parents their entitled receive psychoeducation about parents’ Interventions provide knowledge will enable have mutual understanding situation family possible changes parental behavior. Common grounds make it easier for speak openly within family. The aims enhance parenting communication skills. After completing should feel more equipped talk problems, as well listen children’s needs experiences.
